Four steps to an effective web presence
“Going Live with your Business” is a series of four practical workshops covering how to build a live site that can grow with your business, how to add e-Commerce to get sales, how to structure blogs and social media to build brand and how to optimize content to be visible to search engines.
The workshops will be delivered jointly by Simon Rae-Scott and Annabelle Mackenzie. Simon is ConnectWorks MD and a web technologies specialist, as well as a well versed teacher and business adviser. Annabelle is bringing to ConnectWorks her experience of using Social Media to build online specialist communities. She also brings her deep understanding of the world of Media and creative business support.
These workshops are for new businesses that are hungry to launch and they’re also for existing businesses that want a cost-effective means of testing the value proposition of their new ventures.

Each session will provide the structure, the links and the guidance to enable those with experience of online tools to implement the solutions on their own with a minimum of support through our ‘On the Wing‘ project.

We can also support clients through the steps in four modular, one-to-one implementation sessions taking half a day each with you to put the elements live. These half day sessions are priced at £250 each (£300 inc VAT) and, on the basis of our experience to date, we are now also offering arrangements for server space and domain name solutions at a small premium to simplify and streamline the process.
