Born Troyes, France in 1946
Studied at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs and at the Ecoles des Beaux Arts, Paris
As a scientific illustrator for medical publications, he worked for several years as a member of a graphic studio, in collaboration with neuro-psychiatrists, in order to perfect some new ways of spatial and structural representation in neurobiology (a 6m x 6m oil painting about ultra-structure of nervous tissue....)
After experimental research in perspective, anamorphosis and optical illusions, he approached etching with a particular attention to architectural space and its expressionistic effects.
He studied engraving at Atelier 63 in Paris and since 1990 has taken part in numerous exhibitions in France, Europe and the Far East.
