Joëlle SERVE studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure
des Beaux Arts in Paris.
- 1965 : Prize-winner of the French Fine Art Institute,
she obtained a grant for two years in the Casa Velasquez
(Sevilla).
- 1975 : With the advice and encouragement of S.W.
Hayter, Joëlle created her own studio :
"L'ATELIER 63".
- 1983 : Joëlle SERVE created "TRACE" which is an association of engravers (copper and wood).
(Six biennial events in Paris so far).
- 1987 : Joëlle SERVE was sponsored
to create an engraving prize. ("TRACE-IDEMEDIA").
(Global amount : 60 000 FF - five prizes have been awarded so far).
